School Resumes Tomorrow, 4/13 -New
We are excited to have students back in our building! School resumes on a normal schedule tomorrow, Monday, April 13th.
NC Check-Ins This Week -New
Your child will be participating in NC Check-Ins this week. These are evaluations used to monitor your child’s proficiency and growth over time, and to accurately assess where your child is in preparation for their End of Grade Exam in late May. There are three Check-Ins per tested subject throughout the year. Please make sure your child eats a good breakfast tomorrow and arrives at school early so they are as prepared as they can be for their check-in.

Girls Soccer v Ashe County 4/13 -New
Girls soccer will be playing at home v Ashe County on 4/13 starting at 4:15pm. All CWMS school rules apply at all sporting events. Here are a few reminders for spectators:
Please be sure to pay $6 per attendee at the gate when entering by car.
Students who attend the game must attend with a trusted adult. Any student who is asked to identify a trusted adult that is found to not have one may be asked to not return to any other games for the remainder of the season.
Baseball/Softball Game v WWMS 4/16 -New
Our next home Baseball and Softball games of the season are at Central Wilkes Middle School starting at 4pm against West Wilkes Middle School. All CWMS school rules mentioned above apply at the game.
Tutors Needed between 7:45am and 8:30am
We need you for our morning academic intervention and enrichment program! We are seeking parent and community volunteers to serve as tutors for students who need additional targeted support in Reading, Math, and social/emotional development. Tutors will work with small groups of students to reinforce grade-level skills, build confidence, and strengthen foundational math, literacy, and social skills. YMCA ACCESS Tutoring Program
Does your child need help in their classes? YMCA Access Academy, a FREE tutoring program, is partnering with CWMS to help! We will have some of our own certified teachers providing tutoring instruction. Printed applications are available at the school.
