CWMS Weekly Announcement 04/14/2024
Good evening, Falcon Family! This is Ebenezer Lancerio, principal of Central Wilkes Middle School, with announcements covering various school events.
1. Car Line Reminders
Parents that pick up their children at carline, please keep moving in the carline until there is no gap in front of you. Your child has been instructed to walk to you. This process is in place to prevent traffic from backing up in the intersection which creates a safety hazard. Thank you for your understanding and compliance.
2. Baseball/Softball Game v Ashe County - 04/18/24 at 4:00PM
Our next home Baseball and Softball games at Central Wilkes Middle School are Thursday, April 18th versus Alleghany starting at 4pm. Please be sure to pay $5 at the gate when entering by car. Come out and support your Central Wilkes Middle School Falcons!
3. Quarter 3 PBIS Rewards Trips
The rest of our Quarter 3 PBIS Rewards Trips are tomorrow, Monday, April 15th for 7th grade and Thursday, April 18th for 6th grade.
4. School Registration Continues This Friday - 04/19/24
Any rising 7th and 8th grade students who missed the registration process last Friday will have another opportunity this Friday, April 19th during homeroom time to register for their classes. They will enroll for their required classes in English, Math, Science, and Social Studies, and will also have the opportunity to choose their electives. Your child has been sent home with a form explaining the process to register for their classes. Please review this form with them to guide their process.
5. CWMS Career Accelerator Summer Camps - 06/17/24 - 07/18/24
Calling all rising 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students - Central Wilkes Middle School will be hosting FOUR exciting camps this summer FREE of charge! Transportation is also provided. Don’t miss your chance to sign up for a camp this summer. Each camp is at least one week long, and has limited availability. You can sign up for a camp that matches your interests in NASCAR, Health Science, Robotics, Digital Photography, and Journalism! Sign up today using the Google Form Registration Form. Registration runs through April 26th!

¡Buenas tardes familia Falcón! Soy Ebenezer Lancerio, director de la escuela Central Wilkes Middle School, con anuncios que cubren varios eventos escolares.
1. Recordatorios de líneas de automóviles
Los padres que recogen a sus hijos en la línea de automóviles, sigan moviéndose en la línea de automóviles hasta que no haya espacio frente a ustedes. A su hijo/a se le ha indicado que camine hacia usted. Este proceso está implementado para evitar que el tráfico se atasque en la intersección, lo que crea un peligro para la seguridad. Gracias por su comprensión y cumplimiento.
2. Juego de béisbol/softbol contra el condado de Alleghany - 04/18/24 a las 4:00 p.m.
Nuestros próximos juegos de béisbol y sóftbol en casa en CWMS son el jueves 18 de abril contra Alleghany a las 4pm. Asegúrese de pagar $5 en la puerta cuando ingrese en automóvil. ¡Ven y apoya a tus Falcons de Central Wilkes Middle!
3. Viajes de PBIS del tercer trimestre
El resto de nuestros viajes de PBIS del tercer trimestre son mañana lunes 15 de abril para 7.° grado y jueves 18 de abril para 6.° grado.
4. La inscripción escolar continúa este viernes - 04/19/24
Cualquier estudiante entrando a 7º y 8º grado que perdió el proceso de inscripción el viernes pasado tendrá otra oportunidad este viernes 19 de abril durante el horario de aula para registrarse en sus clases. Se inscribirán en las clases requeridas de inglés, matemáticas, ciencias y estudios sociales, y también tendrán la oportunidad de elegir sus materias optativas. Su hijo ha sido enviado a casa con un formulario que explica el proceso para registrarse en sus clases. Revise este formulario con ellos para guiar su proceso.
5. Campamentos de verano de CWMS Career Accelerator - 06/17/24 - 07/18/24
Llamando a todos los estudiantes que ingresan a 6.º y 7 grado: ¡CWMS organizará CUATRO campamentos este verano GRATIS! También se proporciona transporte. No pierdas la oportunidad de inscribirte en un campamento este verano. Cada campamento dura al menos una semana y tiene una disponibilidad limitada. ¡Puedes inscribirte en un campamento que coincida con tus intereses en NASCAR, Ciencias de la Salud, Robótica, Fotografía Digital y Periodismo!
