Good evening, Falcon Family. This is Ebenezer Lancerio, principal of Central Wilkes Middle School, with announcements covering various school events.
1. Carolina Photography
Dear Parents,
Carolina Photography will be at Central Wilkes Middle School to photograph Spring pictures on Mar 11. You may return the order form and payment with your student on picture day. Online Prepay for Spring pictures is also available at www.carolinaphoto.net by entering Job Key C84K6RNW. The job key will also be listed on the student’s order form. The online prepay will be available up until 24 hours (1 business day) before the start of the session.

2. 2025-2026 Student Registration *NEW*
Student registration for the 2025-2026 school year begins this week! Your child will receive an HPEX catalog to take home with them. In this catalog you will find the different electives that your child can take next school year. These include classes in the arts, music, computers, technology, and fitness. Please return these forms to your child’s homeroom teacher by this Friday, March 14th.
3. NC Check Ins this week *NEW*
Your child will be participating in the NC EOG Check-In this Wednesday and Thursday, March 12th and March 13th. These are evaluations used to progress monitor your child’s proficiency and growth over time, and accurately assess where your child is in preparation for their End of Grade Exam in late May. There are three Check-Ins per tested subject throughout the year. Please make sure your child gets a good night’s sleep and is eating well so they are prepared for their check-in.
4. Parent-Teacher Conferences *NEW*
Our Central Wilkes Middle School teachers will be inviting some families for parent-teacher conferences between March 24th and March 28th. If you would like to be included in these parent-teacher conferences, please reach out to your child’s homeroom teacher to schedule an appointment. You can always email the homeroom teacher or an administrator to schedule a conference pertaining to your child’s progress at school.

Carolina Photography estará en la escuela Central Wilkes Middle para tomar fotografías de primavera el 11 de marzo. Puede devolver el formulario de pedido y el pago con su estudiante el día de la fotografía. El pago por adelantado en línea para fotografías de primavera también está disponible en www.carolinaphoto.net ingresando la clave de trabajo C84K6RNW. La clave de trabajo también aparecerá en el formulario de pedido del estudiante. El pago por adelantado en línea estará disponible hasta 24 horas (1 día hábil) antes del inicio de la sesión.

2. Inscripción de estudiantes 2025-2026 *NUEVO*
¡La inscripción de estudiantes para el año escolar 2025-2026 comienza esta semana! Su hijo recibirá un catálogo HPEX para llevar a casa. En este catálogo, encontrará las diferentes materias optativas que su hijo puede tomar el próximo año escolar. Estas incluyen clases de arte, música, informática, tecnología y fitness. Por favor, devuelva estos formularios al maestro de aula de su hijo antes de este viernes 14 de marzo.
3. NC Check Ins esta semana *NUEVO*
Su hijo participará en el NC EOG Check-In este miércoles y jueves, 12 y 13 de marzo. Estas son evaluaciones que se utilizan para monitorear el progreso de la competencia y el crecimiento de su hijo a lo largo del tiempo, y evaluar con precisión dónde se encuentra su hijo en preparación para su examen de fin de grado a fines de mayo. Hay tres Check-Ins por materia evaluada durante todo el año. Asegúrese de que su hijo duerma bien y coma bien para que esté preparado para su check-in.
4. Conferencias de padres y maestros *NUEVO*
Nuestros maestros de Central Wilkes Middle School invitarán a algunas familias a conferencias de padres y maestros entre el 24 y el 28 de marzo.
